From the Centre Daily Times, Penn State head coach Joe Paterno has been hospitalized for dehydration. Joe Paterno was taken by ambulance to Mount Nittany Medical Center this morning where he is being treated for apparent dehydration, said Guido D'Elia, spokesman for Penn State Football D'Elia said the 81-year-old Penn State football coach was taken to the hospital after complaining of nausea, weakness and fatigue. Tests are being performed to rule out heart and other problems, D'Elia said. "They're just treating him for dehydration," D'Elia said. ESPN has a curious detail in their report, saying that the hospital was going to conduct a stress test prior to releasing JoPa. I mention that only because -- in my recent experience -- a stress test is generally performed if the doctors are actual suspect of the patient's cardio health. Let's hope this is only another bout of the ol' G.I. infection and that Paterno is released very soon. © fanblogs.comView the original post or comment on Paterno Hospitalized for Dehydration... ... read more
